Hide likes and tweets via account protection
In order to hide likes from unauthorized users, you can make your account private by restricting access to your tweets and likes. To do so, follow the steps below:
- Log in to your account.
- Go to settings by tapping on the profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.
- Select “Settings and Privacy.”
- Go to the “Security and Privacy” section.
- Scroll down to the privacy related section and check the box next to “Protect my tweets”.
- Save your changes. Now only your followers will be able to see your tweets and likes.
Clear Favorites
If you want to remove the likes from a tweet so that other users can't see your favorites, follow these steps:
- Go to the favorites (likes) section.
- Find the tweet you want to remove from your favorites.
- Click the Favorites icon next to the tweet to remove the likes.
- Refresh the page for the changes to take effect.
Use filters for notifications
To hide duplicate tweets or likes from yourself, you can turn on the quality filter. This will hide tweets that have been posted multiple times and improve your feed.
- Go to the notifications section.
- Open the notification settings.
- Turn on the “Quality Filter” option to have the system automatically hide unnecessary duplicate posts.
Manage notifications
You can also configure to filter notifications from new accounts or users who don't interact with your publications:
- In your notification settings, turn off notifications from accounts you're not interested in or who don't view your tweets. These methods will help hide your likes and improve your content management on Twitter.
