How to repost in TikTok

TikTok is one of the most popular social networks where users can watch and create short videos. Reposts play an important role in content promotion because the more people share your video, the higher the chance to get into recommendations and increase the popularity of your channel.

Here's how you can repost a video in TikTok:

1. Repost via private messages on TikTok If you want to send a video to your friend or private message, you need to:

• Open the TikTok app and log in.
• Find the video you want to repost.
• Tap on the bent arrow icon located in the bottom right corner.
• In the menu that opens, select a contact from your friends list and send the video. Important: You won't be able to send the link if the person has blocked you.

2. Repost via other social networks and messengers If you want to share the video on other social networks (e.g. VKontakte, Facebook, WhatsApp):

• Launch TikTok and find the video you want to share.
• Click on the arrow icon.
• From the menu, select “Social Networks.”
• Select the desired social network or messenger to send. If the app for the desired social network is not installed, you will be prompted to install it.
• You can then choose whether to send the video to your wall or via private messages.

Notes:

If the creator of the video has restricted access or deleted the clip, you cannot repost it. To send to private messages, the recipient must be in your contact list and subscribed to you. If you have an outdated version of the app, update to use reposts.
