How to display chat on Twitch

To output chat on Twitch during a broadcast, you need to follow a few steps to integrate it with OBS (Open Broadcaster Software).

Here are the detailed instructions on how to connect the chat:

  1. Prepare on Twitch Go to your channel on Twitch and log in to your account. Open the “Chat” tab (usually located on the right side of the page). Click on the gear below the chat window and select the “In a separate window” option. Copy the chat URL that will be displayed in the window that opens.
  2. Connecting the chat in OBS Open OBS on your computer. From the “View” menu, select “Docks.” Next, click on “Custom Browser Documents.” In the new window, give the area a name (for example, “Chat”). In the URL field, paste the previously copied chat address. Confirm the action and the chat will appear in the program window.
