How to see who dislikes Youtube?

Youtube

05.11.2021

As of November 10, 2021, YouTube no longer shows the number of dislikes on videos, hiding this information from viewers. However, channel creators can still see how many dislikes are placed on their videos and can use this data in their analytics. The dislikes remain anonymous, and it's impossible to determine exactly who posted them.

Here's how you can see the dislikes on your video:

Authorize and access Creative Studio:

  • Log in to your YouTube account.
  • Go to Creative Studio.

Video Analytics:

  • From the Creative Studio menu, select Analytics.
  • In the Like/Dislike section, you'll see a graph with information about how many likes and dislikes your video has gotten.

For more information:

YouTube allows you to view additional data such as:

  • Geographic location of users who have disliked.
  • Gender, age group, and whether they are subscribed to your channel.
  • The time and date the dislikes were posted.
  • The type of device from which the dislikes were posted. However, as mentioned, it will not be possible to know the names of the users who disliked as it is anonymous.

For users interested in promoting the video, it is important to remember that dislikes count as activity and YouTube may take them into account when promoting the video. Even if a video is disliked by some viewers, this can attract attention and increase its visibility in recommendations, which isn't always a bad thing for the channel.
